Hello Reader,
After a busy summer and a month of transition in September, October always feels like a season of clarity. Not because everything is suddenly neat and easy (quite the opposite), but because the air itself feels different. A little crisper. A little quieter. As if the trees are reminding us it’s okay to shed what’s no longer needed.
This month, I’m doing just that — and I’m inviting you to do the same. Let this be your permission slip to slow down, clear space, and reconnect with the version of yourself that’s been whispering for your attention.

A New Chapter for Donna Sarah Yoga
You may have already noticed a few changes on my website and social media, and I’m so excited to officially share the full reveal with you!
Donna Sarah Yoga is now Restored by Donna Sarah. This is a name that reflects the deeper work I’ve been offering behind the scenes for years: body-based healing, nervous system support, and intentional integration across all areas of life. I’m now fully committed to championing what I’m calling The Rest Revolution — a place where self-care is sacred.

You’ll still see my familiar offerings including restorative movement, breathwork, yoga nidra, and sound healing, but everything is now more clearly grounded in what this work truly is: a pathway back to wholeness.
Small-Group Coaching
As part of the shift toward restorative wellness, I’ve said goodbye to the old membership model and created something more intimate and seasonal in its place: Restored Group Coaching.
This is a 3-month container designed for women who want to explore nervous system restoration, holistic planning, and embodied living in a small community setting. It’s soft, strategic, and deeply supportive.
Group sessions are soft launching in November, so send me a message if you’re interested or apply to work together on my website.
If you’re ready to move through this season with guidance, support, and a rhythm that’s aligned with your nervous system, I’d love to work with you.
What is Savasana, anyway?
No props. No pretzel shapes. No elaborate transitions. Just the quiet, radical act of being still.
Savasana, or “corpse pose,” isn’t about doing nothing; it’s about learning to rest with intention. To let the ground hold you. To allow the body to be without asking it to perform.
If you’ve been moving fast, juggling too much, or simply feeling out of sync, I invite you to return to this shape. Here’s a simple setup:
- Lie on your back with your arms relaxed by your sides, palms up
- Place a bolster or pillow under your knees for support
- Cover your eyes with a cloth or scarf to signal stillness
- Let your breath soften without effort
With intentional Savasana, even 5 minutes can feel like a full reset.

What I’m Reading
This month, I’m leaning into a comfort read — something tender, clever, and surprisingly timely.
Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility was recommended to me by a friend, and while it’s not what anyone would consider a “wellness book,” I find so much nourishment in returning to these classic stories that invite reflection and simplicity.
There’s just something grounding about reading prose that isn’t trying to “fix” anything. It’s just…present. If you’re craving a quieter kind of nourishment, maybe it’s time to revisit a classic of your own.

Final Thoughts
If your inbox has been feeling overwhelming lately, I hope this space becomes something different: a reminder that less can be more. That stillness is productive. That tending to your body is a form of leadership.
With warmth and gratitude,
