Have You Tried This 11-Minute Morning Reset Yet?

This week, I wanted to share why I love the Somatic Yoga Practice I included in this month’s Off The Mat newsletter.

This practice is short, seated, and oh-so-powerful. It’s the first thing I do in the morning—before coffee, before emails, before the world wakes up. With gentle movements like hands on the shoulders, spinal twist and shoulder shrugs, paired with uplifting music, it’s a practice that feels good every single time.

Here’s what it does for me:

  • Gets me moving gently and sets the tone for the day.
  • Creates a moment of calm and connection before the busyness begins.
  • Sets up the next part of my morning routine—chanting and playing my crystal singing bowls.

It’s amazing how just 11 minutes can make such a difference. And the best part? You can do it all seated, making it simple and accessible for anyone.
