Solstice Energy Without the Overwhelm 🌞

Hi Reader,

The Summer Solstice marked the longest day of light — a time of fullness, fire, and outward bloom.
But let’s be honest: with the light comes a lot.

More plans. More people. More to manage.

If you’ve ever felt overstimulated by summer — the social invites, the heat, the endless decisions — you’re not alone.

That’s why I created our latest Still Point Sanctuary session:
“Steady Through the Solstice: Energy, Ease & Sacred Summer Rituals.”

And today, I’m sharing a small piece of it with you.

✨ 3 Movements for Summer Energy + Ease

These Kundalini-inspired postures are quick, powerful, and can be done anywhere — no mat, no gear, no yoga clothes required. Just your breath and a little space.

🌀 Sufi Grinds (Spinal Circles)
Loosen the spine, calm your nerves, and drop into presence.
→ Inhale forward, exhale back in a slow seated circle. Switch directions.

🔥 Ego Eradicator (Modified)
Clear mental fog and boost your solar energy.
→ Breath of fire with arms raised, ending in an overhead hold and exhale.

🌬️ Seated Spinal Flexes
Reset your posture, breath, and mood.
→ Inhale arching the spine, exhale rounding — like a seated cat-cow.

Each of these takes less than a minute — but they shift everything.

These are the tools I come back to again and again — before an event, after a busy day, or whenever I feel scattered.

Inside Still Point Sanctuary, we put these practices into context and layer them with restorative poses, breathwork, and reflection — so they become part of how you live, not just something you do once in a while.

You get:

✨ Two live sessions each month
✨ Day-to-day support and guidance when you need it
✨ A growing library of simple practices to help you feel steady, clear, and connected — even in the chaos

If you’re watching other teachers online and thinking,
“That looks great… but I want to go deeper,”
this is your invitation.

We don’t just scroll and like.
We practice.
We reflect.
We support each other — all month long.

Hi Reader, Let’s talk about one of my favorite restorative poses of all time: Viparita Karani — Elevated Legs Up the Wall You don’t need to be a seasoned yogi to practice this pose. You don’t even need a mat.Just a wall (or a chair, or a bench) and a few quiet minutes. It’s not just one pose — it’s four restful shapes in one. That’s right — four. ✨ Butterfly Pose — soles of the feet together, knees wide✨ Wide-Leg Forward Fold — legs open in a relaxed “V”✨ Reverse Child’s Pose — hug your knees...

Dear Reader, At the end of May, I packed my car, said goodbye to my to-do list, and set off for something I hadn't planned, researched, or even fully understood — a women’s retreat at a place called Light on the Hill. I signed up back in January without hesitation. A dear friend asked, and I said yes before I even looked at the retreat details. You know those moments when something just feels right? That was this. No passport. No airports. No detailed itinerary.Just a peaceful drive through...

Hello Reader, The beginning of summer always feels like a deep inhale — a pause before the fullness of the season settles in. This month, I’m doing a lot of quiet tending: to my garden, to my business, to the ideas that have been blooming behind the scenes. While there aren’t any big events on my calendar just yet, I’m preparing something special for you — and for myself. Because even when we’re not “doing” as much, we’re still becoming something new. This is the energy I’m bringing into...
