Stop Saying Yes to Everything

Hello Reader,

This week I have been talking about believing in yourself.
About stopping the explaining.
About trusting your own authority.

Sometimes believing in yourself looks like this:

Not saying yes.

Not rescheduling your hair appointment.
Not canceling your yoga class.
Not squeezing in one more thing.

Sound familiar?

“Yes, I can do that.”
“Yes, give me ten minutes.”
“Yes, I’ll be right there.”

Those yeses add up.

Overwhelm.
Stress.
Resentment.

Supporting the people we love matters.
But we have to fill ourselves first.

Sometimes creating space is simple.

Three minutes.
Set a timer.
Close your eyes.
Breathe.

Reset.

Yoga didn’t teach me how to do more.
It taught me how to pause.

And that pause changed everything.

Since it’s Valentine’s Day, a day of love and receiving, I’m sharing a gentle self-love ritual with you.

Rest Is the Ritual to Rewiring Your Energy
A gentle practice to reset your nervous system.

• Smooth, calming breath
• Soft spinal waves
• A nourishing savasana

Do all three.
Or choose just one.

Let it be easy.
Let it be gentle.
Let it be unapologetic.

After you practice, send me a message and tell me how it felt.

And if you want more steadiness, more support, more space for yourself let’s talk. I offer a free 30-minute call where we create a plan that fits your real life.

Believing in yourself isn’t loud.

Sometimes it’s three quiet minutes.
Sometimes it’s choosing yourself first.

Rest is the revolution.

With love,
Sarah

Hi Reader, I love an unpopular opinion especially when it goes against the norms of your own industry. So here’s one of mine. You’ve probably heard people say that support, rest, or care has to be something you “figure out on your own.” Here’s my hot take: I don’t think that’s true. I don’t think we’re meant to stumble into support by accident. And I don’t think it should feel like luck when we finally find someone who helps us slow down, breathe, and feel steady again. What does matter is...

Hi Reader, Last week we spoke about the nervous system reset, small pauses, gentle breath, and ways to slow down in the middle of your real life. I loved hearing from so many of you. So this week, I want to follow up with something simple and meaningful. Because pauses are beautiful…and practicing them together can be even more supportive. Introducing the Restored Group Club I’m so happy to finally share the details with you. Restored Group Club is a virtual group designed around one thing: ✨...

Hi Reader, When life gets busy or overwhelming, it’s not that we forget what to do. We forget where to return. Your nervous system is always looking for an anchor something steady it can come back to when things feel loud, rushed, or uncertain. Without one, we default to pushing, distracting, or powering through. So today, I want to offer you a simple pause practice not to fix anything, but to help you reconnect with yourself in small, doable ways. A Simple Nervous System Anchor (10 minutes...
