Hello Reader,
As we move into the new quarter, I invite you to take a moment for deep reflection. Over the past three months, you’ve been exploring the 40-day rest + meditation practice — a dedicated time to step away from the hustle and truly connect with yourself.
Remember that true rest isn’t about mindless distractions; it’s a radical act of pausing, downloading, and letting your mind and body regenerate. It’s in these moments of stillness that we create space for fresh ideas and new beginnings. I truly believe finding this quiet haven is essential.

Q1 Reflection
In our fast-paced world, true rest is a radical act — one that allows us to download, regenerate, and set the stage for new beginnings. As the world prepares to bloom this spring, I encourage you to look back on these past months and ask yourself a few simple questions:
- What did you like that you want more of in your routine?
- What new practices did you explore in January and February?
- Which morning and evening rituals helped you feel truly centered?
- What didn’t work for you, and what would you like to change?
- What practices are you ready to carry with you into Q2 to stay grounded and inspired?
Take a few minutes with your journal and let these questions guide you. This reflective exercise is a wonderful way to consolidate your progress and set clear intentions for the months ahead. If you don’t have a copy of my Divine Gratitude Journal, you can use any notebook you already have.
A Gentle Reminder About the 40-Day Challenge
If you haven’t yet embarked on our daily 11-minute practice, or if life has gotten in the way of consistency, now is the time to recommit. This is the last month of the challenge so it’s an ideal opportunity to harness that restorative power while the season is still transitioning. Even if it’s just 11 minutes a day, let this practice be a gift to yourself as things get busier with spring’s arrival. Our three simple poses are:
- Wide Leg Forward Bend (Prasarita Padottanasana)
- Reclining Bound Angle Pose (Supta Baddha Konasana)
- Restful Savasana
The Perfect Pose for Spring
Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) is the perfect pose to reset, reflect, and reawaken. I believe this pose is more than just a foundational yoga shape — it’s a full-body refresh.
Aside from the incredible release you’ll feel upon completing the pose, it helps circulate fresh blood to the brain, awakening your senses for the season ahead. With its natural inversion, it encourages lymphatic flow and detoxification. The trick to achieving these effects is grinding through your hands and feet while lifting your hips high and breathing deeply as you settle into the Downward-Facing Dog.
This pose offers a moment of pause in your practice — a place to come home to yourself, even in motion. Whether you hold it for a few breaths or weave it gently into your flow, Downward-Facing Dog can be the anchor that helps you stretch into what's next while staying grounded in your present.
My hope for you is that you let this pose become part of your personal spring renewal.
